Freddie, Fannie, the Democrats and the Economy

Written by Thomas Kegel

Freddie, Fannie, the Democrats and the Economy

Wikipedia: The Community Reinvestment Act is a United States federal law designed to encourage commercial banks and savings associations to meet the needs of borrowers in all segments of their communities, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods. Congress passed the Act in 1977 to reduce discriminatory credit practices against low-income neighborhoods, a practice known as redlining.

OPINION:  Many can no doubt share the blame for today’s economic problems. Each influence needs to be investigated and the underlying problem needs to be fixed. How many of the current economic problems are tied directly to Democrat party policies? Going back how long? As you watch the Youtube videos, make your own decision. Shouldn’t some of the key players (Maxine Waters, Barney Frank, Franklin Raines, Gregory Meeks …) be living in government housing, wearing those orange jumpsuits. How much misery did these people cause.  And where are all these Republicans now? Defeated in elections courtesy of the Obama machine.
