House Democrats Propose Public Option To Reduce Deficit.
The Los Angeles Times (7/22, Levey) reports, "As both political parties worry about the growing federal deficit, an unlikely proposal is returning from last year's divisive healthcare debate: the 'public option.'" Notably, "128 House Democrats are pushing to reconsider the idea, contending that it would hold down federal spending," even though it was rejected in 2009. Their proposal, "which faces long odds, would allow Americans who do not get insurance at work to choose a government health plan starting in 2014," but "insurance companies, hospitals and other businesses say a public option would undermine employer-provided insurance, and set the stage for a so-called single-payer system, in which the government would be the only insurer."

They forgot to include Federal power to control premiums? Wasn't that the Bamster's big sales pitch? The main thing? Reign in the "evil" insurance companies? Stop those premium hikes? We'll show them ...
Democrat didn't read the bill?

... and they cancelled their own sweetheart insurance. Didn't read that part of the bill either? Hahahahah

Meanwhile in Massachusetts, "Obamacare Light" crashes onward... they are reigning in the "evil profit mongering insurance companies" ... take them to court, show them who's boss ... except these are NON-PROFIT insurance companies ... hmmmm

LOL aside... the third story, and others from the Bay State, are important as predicting the future disasters brought on by Obabamacare.
We should really call it "Obamadon'tcare".
